Who runs it
TrustlyEd is built and operated by Hotline Labs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 11873778) and based in Tonypandy, Wales. You can verify the company on the Companies House register.
Why it exists
The data that tells you which English schools and academy trusts to approach is already public. It is also spread across four government services, published in four different shapes, on four different schedules, and none of them was built for someone trying to decide who to call on Monday morning. TrustlyEd joins those sources on the two keys that matter, the school URN and the trust GIAS UID, and puts one record on one page.
What we will not do
We do not sell head-teacher personal email addresses, scrape teacher inboxes, or buy contact lists. Contacts are role-based and come from official public registers. Where the underlying data cannot answer a question, we say so rather than estimating: DfE Financial Benchmarking publishes spend by category and never names suppliers, so no product built on it can tell you who a school already buys from.
Honest numbers
We publish the size of the universe we actually cover, not the largest number we could defend. That means around 24,000 open schools in England and around 2,030 academy trusts with at least one open member school, not "every UK school". Welsh and Scottish schools, colleges and closed establishments sit outside the product, and we do not count them.
Honest refresh rates
GIAS refreshes daily. Ofsted publishes a monthly CSV rather than a live feed, so inspection data on any product built from it, including this one, is monthly. Financial benchmarking updates when the DfE publishes. Contract awards update weekly. Every profile shows its source date. See the methodology page for the detail.
